Our journey began in May 2002. Inspired by the faith and hope, driven by Coach Charles Kidd's passion, Kidd’s Sports & Education Program was founded to extend athletic training beyond financial restrictions. Our Mission
At Kidd’s Sports and Education Program, our mission is to empower individuals through fitness, education, and mentorship, inspiring healthier, more balanced lives. We are dedicated to nurturing the potential within every person—not only by helping them grow stronger physically but also by supporting their academic success and personal development. Through tutoring, community outreach, and positive mentorship, we strive to equip youth and families with the tools they need to thrive. By fostering confidence, discipline, and resilience, we aim to build a stronger, more united community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed—on and off the field.
Our Leadership
Charles Kidd is an awesome motivator and coach who kicked off his coaching journey back in 1984 at the Oak Park Community Center in Sacramento. With experience in basketball and football, Coach Kidd really got going when he started coaching at Sac High. His vast knowledge of sports, along with his natural organizing skills and drive for excellence, inspired everyone around him—staff, coaches, players, and parents alike. Always going above and beyond, Coach Kidd earned tons of praise for his work ethic, character, and commitment to fitness from everyone he met. His success speaks for itself, with some of his clients making it to college and even professional levels, including Charles, who really shines as a leader and positive influence. You can really see Coach Kidd's huge passion for uplifting the community through all the amazing things he’s done.
